Performance analysis of 802.11ac with frame aggregation using NS3

    Get PDF
802.11ac is an interesting standard of IEEE bringing multiple advantages than its predecessor 802.11n. 802.11ac is faster and more scalable version of 802.11n offering the capabilities of wireless Gigabit Ethernet. 802.11ac will enable access points (AP) to support more STAs with a better experience for clients and more channel bonding increasing from a maximum of 40 MHz with 802.11n up to 80 or 160 MHz with 802.11ac standard. In this paper, we analyze and evaluate the 802.11ac performance using NS3 simulator (v3.26) relying on several features like channel bonding, modulation and coding schemes, guard interval and frame aggregation. Then, we present the effect of the variation of distance between STAs and AP on the network performance in term of throughput. Finally, we capture the most relevant simulations outcomes and we indicate some research challenges for the future work

TABU SEARCH FOR THE MULTI-MODE RESOURCE CONSTARINED PROJECT SCHEDULING PROBLEM WHITH RESOURCE FLEXIBILITY

International audienceThe scheduling problem under study may be viewed as an extension of the standard Multi-mode Resource-Constrained Project Scheduling Problem (MRCPSP) including Multi-Skilled Labor and will be called as MRCPSP-MS. This problem requires an integration of resource limitation, labor skills, and multiple possible execution modes for each task, and the objective is to minimize the overall project duration. This paper present a new tabu search (TS) algorithm using a powerful neighborhood function based on a flow graph representation in order to implement various search strategies. The search of the solution space is carried out via two types of moves. Furthermore, the TS algorithm is embedded in a decomposition based heuristic (DBH) which serve to reduce the solution space. The effectiveness of the new Tabu Search is demonstrated through extensive experimentation on different standard benchmark problem instances and proves that our results are competitive

Kata Kunci : Brand image, loyalitas pelanggan, Speedy Telkom This study aimed to evaluate the impact of Brand Image Speedy Telkom to loyality of customer in Kecamatan Banyumanik Semarang. Data for this research is collected by giving the questionnaire to 100 customer of Speedy Telkom in Kecamatan Banyumanik, Semarang. Data will be processed using SPSS software 17.0. Result of data processing show us that, simultaneously, there is a positive influence of brand image speedy Telkom which consisting of the advantages of brand association, strength of brand association, and uniqueness of brand association on customer loyalty of speedy Telkom in Kecamatan Banyumanik, Semarang. Partially, the strength of the brand asosociation have greater significant influence on customer loyalty of speedy Telkom in Kecamatan Banyumanik, Semarang, compared with the influence of advantage and uniqueness of brand association

Constitutive expression of clathrin hub hinders elicitor-induced clathrin-mediated endocytosis and defense gene expression in plant cells

AbstractEndocytosis has been recently implicated in the signaling network associated with the recognition of microbes by plants. In a previous study, we showed that the elicitor cryptogein was able to induce clathrin-mediated endocytosis (CME) in tobacco suspension cells. Herein, we investigate further the induced CME by means of a GFP-tagged clathrin light chain and a CME inhibitor, the hub domain of clathrin heavy chain. Hub constitutive expression does affect neither cell growth nor constitutive endocytosis but abolishes cryptogein-induced CME. Such an inhibition has no impact on early events in the cryptogein signaling pathway but reduces the expression of defense-associated genes

SUPPLY CHAIN ROUTING SCHEDULING SUB-MODEL DESIGN: CASE OF EXPORT BULK PORTS

    No full text
International audienceThe integration of planning and scheduling decisions of loading, stacking/scraping, routing and production making up an integrated optimization plan without contradictory goals is vital for an efficient use of the four aforementioned bulk port operations. Usually, the optimization of these decisions is approached in an integrated fashion in one mathematical model. In this paper, we discuss another integration approach using a real case as an illustration. The proposed approach can improve the design phase in optimization problems and avoid the cons of the classical methodology. It can also come up with a number of pros which can be summed up mainly in the ability to design the optimization problems, in such a way to reflect the real aspects of the industrial settings
